On April the 27th 2023, CAS050+ organized the Portuguese Multiplier Event of project SINCALA II, in Porto, at the facilities of our partner CA50+, at ICBAS.UP.
The event was yielded face to face and on-line, with 10 participants in loco and 24 participants assisting remotely, mostly from social and health sector and academia.
The event included a presentation of:
– the SINCALA project by Maria João Azevedo, project manager and applied researcher from CASO50+
– “Listen to my story!” Methodology of intervention with informal caregivers based on literary stimuli by Rita Tavares de Sousa, former applied researcher at CASO50+ that worked in the SINCALA project and implemented the “Listen to my story!” workshops in Portugal
– the Guide on abuse, MOOC and Learning Platform by Maria João Azevedo
– the Resources for informal caregivers – Learning platform for Informal Caregivers by Sandra Costa
The event was closed by a debate in which the participants had the opportunity to clarify their doubts, but the discussion focused on two main aspects: recruitment and participation of carers and sustainability of this and other projects in this area.
